Boarding

DSCF0106When you’re traveling and can’t take your pet with you, we will provide them with a safe and fun place to stay. At Appalachian Animal Health Center we treat all boarders as if they were our own pets.

Our dog kennels have central air conditioning and heating so your pet can stay comfortable no matter what the weather outside is doing.  Each kennel is spacious and features a raised dog hammock bed. Our two compartment kitty condos offer plenty of room and ledges so your cat can move around. During their stay each day your dog will receive individual attention/playtime. Cat boarders will enjoy daily litter changes and interaction with one of our caring staff. All pets in our care will eat a nutritious Royal Canin diet. You are also welcome to bring their own food from home if you wish.

To protect the health of all boarders, we require all pets have an annually exam to be done by one of our doctors and to be current on the vaccines outlined below.

Dogs: Rabies, Distemper/Parvo combo, bordetella (kennel cough)

Cats: Rabies, 4 in 1 Vaccine
